Nearly two decades of honest, expert locksmith service — rooted in Burien, serving all of King County.
Maurice Bressack moved to Washington in 1996 and began learning the locksmith trade. After several years refining his skills, he joined Highline Lock & Key. When Highline closed its doors, Maurice saw an opportunity: Burien and South King County still needed a reliable, locally-owned locksmith.
On November 1, 2009, Seatown Locksmith opened to the public. What started as a one-man mobile operation grew steadily — first adding a retail storefront, then employees, then a fleet of service vans. In 2021, Seatown moved to its permanent home at 15835 Ambaum Blvd SW, a commercial property Maurice purchased to anchor the business in the community it serves.
Today, Seatown Locksmith is one of the most established and trusted locksmith operations in South King County — serving residential customers, commercial accounts, municipalities, hospitals, religious institutions, and property management companies.
Maurice has been a working locksmith in the Seattle area since 1996 — giving him nearly 30 years of hands-on experience across residential, commercial, and automotive locksmithing. He is a specialist in transponder key programming and safe work, two disciplines that most generalist locksmiths refer out.
Under Maurice’s leadership, Seatown provides employees with full health coverage, a SEP-IRA retirement program, and competitive wages — reflecting a belief that a great business takes care of the people behind it.
We own our building. Walk in Mon–Fri 9am–5pm. No call-farm, no bait & switch — a real shop you can visit and verify.
Transponder programming and safe work are core specialties — not services we refer to someone else.
We serve cities, hospitals, facilities managers, and religious institutions — accounts that trust us year after year.
Seatown Locksmith’s Chevy BrightDrop service van was selected as a featured entry in Locksmith Ledger International’s 2026 Van Contest and appeared on the cover of the May 2026 issue — Volume 86, Number 5. Locksmith Ledger is the industry’s leading trade publication, serving professional locksmiths, security specialists, and access control experts across North America.
Being featured on the cover of Locksmith Ledger reflects the professional standard Seatown Locksmith holds itself to — from the equipment and branding on our vehicles to the quality of work performed at every service call.
